I know it is possibl with jaws on windows. However, it is also possible, and 
may be easier, on a Mac laptop. Currently, the driver for the apex is having 
problems, but the driver for the mPower should be okay. You could also look at 
an iTouch with a display/keyboard, or update to the apex and use it with an 
iTouch. Hw said that word 2007 file support was coming soon, and the hims 
notetakers can now read pdf files, so maybe the apex will read them as well in 
the relatively near future? I'm not sure, I'm just tossing out ideas. Let me 
know if you want clarification on anything, and I'm sorry you're mPower is no 
longer able to keep up.
