Hi Lucy,

From what I understand, you can not use a virtual private
network on the BrailleNotes. This is because to use one you would have to load a piece of software, and you can't do that with keysoft. (I wish we could, I wouldn't mind being able to do it for work.) I just looked in Chapter 14 of the manual about connectivity, and I think you might be able to use a proxy server. You would need to set this up when you are creating the network entries. I have never done this, so maybe someone else on the list can help.

Good luck!!

Debby

Thank you!

Hi all,

I'm trying to access my school's electronic library resources
remotely and can do this either by using a proxy server or
through a virtual private network. Would either of these options
be compatible with my BrailleNote MPower and, if so, how can I
set this up?

Thank you!

Lucy
