Hi folks, Quite an interesting list of topics for the ninth BrailleNote chat. We had four people (including one who chimed through Skype), including myself, Josh G., Chris N. and Derek Roberts. So what did we discuss? * NLS/Web-Braille: A lister was having difficulty signing onto Web-Braille. Apparently one of the participants said that he cannot reproduce the problem and suggested to contact the local library on Tuesday. * Notetakers vs. mainstream devices: An extensive discussion on this topic, including price, product and feature comparisons and reason why we even purchase notetaking devices. * mPower versus Apex: A few clarification on this topic, including memory usage. * System sounds and Eloquence: A word on system sounds used by Eloquence, including which ones are used by Eloquence and which are part of keynote Gold. Also discussed speech problems with Eloquence and purpose of including Eloquence in the first place. And others.
