Dear listers,
When leaving Keymail a minute ago, a message I received from
my
BrailleNote Apex BT 32 said, "Windows CE Networking A DHCP
server
could not be contacted. Using cached lease information."
What
does this mean?
Sincerely,

Dear Listers,
I have a friend who just got his Apex BT 32 yesterday, and
he is
having Internet troubles. Even though he created his
connection,
when he tries to go to the Internet, he gets a message
saying,
"The page cannot be displayed." Does anyone have any ideas
as to
what he could do?

Hey Folks,
Does anyone know how to post songs on Facebook? If so, how
do you
do that?
I've tried copying and pasting links, but whenever I paste
them,
they don't come out as links. They come out as text.
Thanks,

Hi,
Ask him to make sure that he is using the correct
connection, and if so, that he has configured the settings
correctly. And if he is using lan (wired) connection, to
make sure that the cable has been connected securely.
Have you forwarded the internet setup article on the bnusers
site to your friend?
Cheers,
Joseph

The Vinux project was recently featured on the ViewPoints
radio show /
podcast.
ViewPoints is a weekly, half hour show that focuses on a
wide range of
topics of interest to people with low vision. Previous
topics have
included free screen readers, advanced features of JAWS,
music
performance and production, tips on vacationing and
exercising, etc.
You can learn more about ViewPoints as well as find links to
the
podcast, archived show and show notes, and more at the URL:
www.ViewPointsPlus.net <http://www.ViewPointsPlus.net
The episode which features Vinux is show #1136:

Hosts Peter Torpey and Nancy Goodman Torpey devote this
entire show to
Vinux, a fully accessible and easy to use computer operating
system.
Besides describing how it works, they interview two of its
creators and
explain how you can get involved in follow-on improvements,
updates and
upgrades.
We would also like to do a show on the Orca screen reader in
the next
few months. If Joanie or any of the other developers would
like to be
interviewed via Skype for the show, write me off list and
we'll see what
we can arrange.
Please pass along information about ViewPoints to others who
you feel
might be interested in the show.

Without getting technical, it basically means that you
should turn off
wifi and turn it on again since you may have problems going

Hi all,

wondering if anyone else has had this problem or might be
aware
of a solution. When I go to the site, I simply get a
message

I'm
taken to the same page. Any help with this would be greatly
appreciated -- I really need to access some email saved on

Thanks in advance!
