Hi, When you connect your BrailleNote to your computer, do you hear hardware insert sound from your laptop and does WMDC partnership screen appear? If not, try starting Windows Mobile Device Center first (before connecting your BN) and connect with USB first (from Main Menu, go to Utilities/Misc Options/ActiveSync connection to USB). The other factor to consider is the reason for using ActiveSync - viewing files on your BN, transfering some content, browsing the web using your laptop's Internet connection and so forth. Cheers, Joseph
