Hello. It is recommended that you run the battery flat to get the most from it. In older models of the braillenote, the support information mode had a battery drain mode. However, the apex does not. Maybe someone knows another way to do it? Anyway, you could always buy a new battery, if worse comes to worse. They're about $40 plus shipping and handling. Also, you may wish to do s chord intermittently to save your work. Good luck!

Subject: [Braillenote] Battery problem with the Braille-Note Apex

Hi there

I am having problems with my battery. I am using the Braille-Note Apex.
When I am working on a document, the Braille-Note all of a sudden switches
off and needs to be reset which means I lose all of my work. I suspect it
is a battery problem. Is it necessary to run the battery down to flat and
recharge? If so, how do I do this?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Cheers

Paula
