Hello and welcome! I, too, have an apex. I love it as well. Anyway, yes there is a way to download any file at all from the internet directly onto an sd card or usb drive. When you're online, after clicking on a download link the braillenote asks you the folder you want to download the file to, which by default is the downloads folder. When it asks you this, press backspace. When you press backspace, the braillenote will ask you what drive you want to download to. at this point you should already have the sd card in the braillenote or usb drive blugged in. Press s for the sd card when it asks you for the drive. If you're using a usb drive, press h for hard disk. Then it will ask you what folder you want to download to. Once you've chosen a drive and folder, the download begins. Depending on the size of the file and your internet connection, it may take anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes. Good luck. Sorry if this is too much information. Homero Vazquez

Subject: [Braillenote] New To The List

Hello,
My name is Sylvia. I am new to the list. I currently have a braillenote
Apex which I absolutely love. However, I am still learning all the bells
and whistles and I'm sure I have a long ways to go.

Does anybody know if there's a way to download books off of NLS and
bookshare directly from the apex onto an SD card? Any feedback on this
matter would be helpful.
Thanks in advance.
