When I reinstalled the Oxford dictionary, my license information was preserved. I did not have to re-enter the license information again. Also, the re-installation was quick and painless.
The Apex BT 123 reset erases applications. It's best to use the standard reset or the 456 reset if the standard one isn't doing the trick. However, my Oxford may have disappeared with a standard reset. I'm not sure of the sequence of events because I tried everything once I knew the Oxford was gone. I hope it isn't an event that occurs with a standard reset because it seems I have to reset on a fairly regular basis. It would be a pain to have to re-install the Oxford dictionary and other applications all the time. The Apex manual talks about resets in a couple of places. If memory serves, I think the best info is in Appendix C of the manual. However, I've learned more about resents from this listserv than from the manual. There are really invaluable expert users on this listserv. Also, I'm not familiar with that reset. Is it mentioned in the manual? ___ Replies to this message will go directly to the sender.
