On any folder, just hit space-5-6 to see the folders inside it. The bn will say "list of folders on flash disk" but this is inaccurate; it is really a list of folders inside the parent folder. To go back up a level, use space-2-3. Note that subfolders can have subfolders of their own, going down many levels.
