I'm afraid writing dot 4 before an accented letter won't work. The word
won't show the accent. Besides, the rules of braille don't allow you to
write U.S. contracted braille when all of your writing is supposed to be in
a foreign language.
I wrote a long post about this not too long ago, and I'll try to find it and
repost it.
