In a document: 1. Place the cursor on the first character of the block of text you want to copy. 2. Press backspace-m, or press space-b to bring up the block commands menu, then t to mark the top of the block. 3. Now place the cursor one character past the end of the block, such as just after the period of the last sentence. 4. Press space-b, b to mark the bottom of the block (there is no quick way to set the bottom of the block like you can the top with space-m). 5. You are still in the block commands menu, so select the option you want - copy, move, append - and the text will go to the clipboard. 6. Now go to where you want the text pasted, hit space-b, and press p to paste.
Also, to quicly mark a chunk of text, enter the block commands menu and hit space-c to mark the current sentence, space-2-5 to mark the current word, space-3-6 to mark the current character, and space-2-3-5-6 to mark the current paragraph.
