Hi Joseph and everyone,

Great! I haven't upgraded yet, as I'm a little wary to do so because of all the problems other list members have been having with 9.2. However, I will check the new podcast and articles out! I would also like to let everyone on the BrailleNote list know that Alex Hall has created a podcast on the BN and iOS devices (this includes iPod Touch, iPhone, and iPad.) Along with all our other podcasts, you can find this one at braillenoteusers.info. If you have any questions or comments for us about the site, please email the site admin at [email protected]. Thanks!

Subject: [Braillenote] BrailleNote Users site: November update with KeySoft9.2

Hi folks,
this is Joseph, one of the developers of BrailleNote Users website (www.braillenoteusers.info). Just giving you some heads up and what's
new in November 2011 update to the site:
The website theme for this release is all about KeySoft 9.2 and new
features. As such, the update contains:
* A new podcast on overview of KeySoft 9.2: A podcast highlighting
various new features of KeySoft 9.2, including file odwnload info
improvements, PDF to text conversion and a word on more flexible QT
under brailll terminal. To listen to the podcast, go to
www.braillenoteusers.info/media. It's the last podcast under "other
podcasts" section.
* Working with PDF documents: a step-by-step tutorial on converting a
PDF to text file for reading or editing. It can be found at
www.braillenoteusers.info/articles under "Storage management" section.
* Applying fonts: A short article on steps on applying fonts to a
selected text and a table of availible fonts on the BrailleNote. It
can be found at www.braillenoteusers.info/articles under "Word
processing" section.

That's all. If you have any comments on the new update, please let us
know. Thanks.
