Hi Matthew,
I know that Google Chat works with Keychat, as I use it with my
Gmail account. I see that you have a Gmail account which you are
emailing the list from, and Google Chat comes with your Gmail
account, so you can use that. Here are the settings for Google
Chat:
Username: your email username
Password: your email password
Auto connect: (optional) for ease of use, I would say yes on
this.
Host server: talk.google.com.
Host server port: leave at the default of 5222.
Facebook Chat used to work with Keychat, but I think they've
changed some things which are making it not cooperate with
Keychat. For this, you can go online to ebuddy.com and click the
Facebook link, then sign in using your FB username and password
and you can chat that way. Hope this helps!
Chris

Subject: [Braillenote] messengers?
Hi all,
I've a quick question. I know that the bn is mostly used for
work and,
indeed, that is where most of its use comes from for me.
However, I wouldn't mind a sneaky sign on to msn during an
incredibly
borring lecture, or facebook chat. I know that fb chat uses the
xmpp
protocol and I found the address, but it does not seem to work
with Keychat.
I have also read that there is a way to make msn cooperate with
xmpp. Can
anyone help me out here. Aside from twitter and skype chat,
these are the
only two chat programs I use and I'd love to be able to access
them.
Thanks,
MJ
