The at sign in US computer braille is dots 4,7. If you have turned off 8
dot view, then you will only se dot 4. To write the at sign with a braille
keyboard you must press dots 4 and 7. Dot 7 is the backspace key. I am
assuming you have 8 dot braille writing turned on. If you don't have 8 dot
braille writing turned on, then you must press space with u then dot 4.
Qwerty users have it easy. Press shift 2 to type the at sign.
