Hi,
Yes - you can indeed use a card reader with the Apex to read various card types, including a second SD card, micro SD, CF and others. The largest CF card in existence is about 128 GB in size, and the largest SD card availible is 64 GB (theoretically should work, given that current SDHC standard supports earlier SDXC standard).
Cheers,
Joseph

Subject: [Braillenote] CF Cards

Hi listers,

I'm back after a month or so away; needed a break, I guess.

There are three USB ports on the BrailleNote and you might be able to plug a card reader into one of them, but I haven't tried it, so am not sure it would work. If it does, you could use a card reader with a CF card.

I've gained a lot of respect for all the work that's been done with braille in the BT. I've never seen such flexibility in a braille device. There's a lot going on "under the hood", so to speak. Not perfect, judging from what I see on the list, but certainly admirable. Hurray for
what Humanware has put into such a small device!

Mary
