Hi Jessica,
GMail will definitely work with Keymail; I use it occasionally and, unless
I'm on an unstable wi-fi connection, it works every time. Here's the
information that you need to get up and running.
Your login name will be your full gmail address, not just jessicabrown531,
and your password is whatever you have set for that account.
The incoming mail server is pop.gmail.com, which requires a secure SSL
connection on port 995.
Your outgoing mail server is smtp.gmail.com, which requires a secure SSL
connection on port 465.
Authentication is required for the smtp server. If you don't turn on
authentication for the smtp server, you'll get an error when trying to send
messages.
Well, that oughta do ya. If it still doesn't work, then we'll need to look
at what error messages you get when trying to send/receive and so on. Hope
this helps.
Tom

Subject: [Braillenote] what ports do i use for gmail in keymail?
I am trying to make my gmail account work with keymail. I have read
lots of stuff on this list about what ports should be used and no one
has the same answer. So I have tryed every onen's different settings
and nothing is working. Also some people on this list have sed that
gmail works with keymail and some people have sed that it does not. If
any one knows the truth about what ports to use and if gmail works
with key mail, I would very much like to know Thanks
