The max capacity supported on CF is about 2 TB Terabyte) - that is, about 2000 GB. As of now, the largest card that's "bound" to work with mPower is 64 GB, and largest "known" SD card for mPower is 4 GB (no HC). For Apex, the largest "shown" SD card capacity is 32 GB, but some people say (and since the SD documentation say) that up to 2000 GB would work. As to the whole story behind this scenario, we'll just say that the smart guys figured that limiting to 32 GB was enough for some time. You can find 4gb sd cards that are not hc, but they are rare. The mPower supports cf cuards of up to 32gb, but there is a huge difference between sd and cf cards. Just because the mPower can use large capacity cf cards does not mean it can use similarly sized sd cards; they are two different animals.
