Hi,
Thanks for the tips, Debby.

Warning: I'm going to be a hardnose about this and I'm not going to apologize for it, either. Keymail's inability to read HTML messages has been a problem for years, and that's far too long and quite enough. While the solution shown below may work, it's way too klugey for my taste. My opinion, for what it's worth, is that if Humanware can devote time and development resources to writing some sort of PDF converter, then they can darn well develop the ability to read HTML messages in keymail without some sort of work-around. Keymail should support transparent handling of HTML messages and it should support other mail protocols like IMAP, too. If that means rewriting keymail, then so be it. Come on, get it done, Humanware!

Because of the inability to read HTML messages and the sluggishness of keymail when retrieving mail, I've abandoned using keymail for any sort of mail handling and am now using my iPhone when I need to do that while away from my computer.

Just my two cents worth.

Tom

Hi,

I don't know about mime, but if the message is in html, you can save it and read it in keyweb. To do this:

1. Open the html email message.
2. Save it by, on a qt keyboard, pressing contrl with s. (Perhaps it is space with s on the bt?)

3. It will ask for a folder name. Move to the "my favorites" folder and press enter.

4. Then you will be asked for a file name. Type a file name then type ".htm" without the quotes and press enter. If your file name is abc, the file name should look like abc.htm 5. close your e-mail and go to the internet. Go into your list of "my favorites" and on a qt keyboard press read with x. It will give you a list of the html files in "my favorites."

6. Find your file and hit enter. Your e-mail should be much more readable now.

Hope this helps.

Debby
Happy Holidays!!

We're not able to read messages in html or mime format on the braillenote,
at least not initially when downloaded. Is there a work around for this?
