Hi,
In that case, I meant was the Bluetooth dongle for the printer connected to the wall outlet via a cable. Also, as Mike suggested, try turning on the printer and make it discoverable (if the printer has internal chip) or turn both printer and dongle on. Then try searching again.

I'm not sure what you mean by AC power, but the Bluetooth light was on.

That's exactly what I did.  I went to the Connectivity Menu,
turned on Bluetooth and searched for devices.  However, the Apex
was unable to find the printer.  The Apex and the printer were
about six inches away from each other, but the Apex was unable to
find it.
