Hi, hopefully the borrowed adaptor will work however if it doesn't and you
have to send it back to humanware I'm not sure if the files will be safe. If
you explain when sending it in that you have files on it then they will do
their best not to lose them. I am happy to be corrected here but I'm prettty
sure that the files you have on the flash disk will still be there after you
get it going again. The only reason you might loose things is if there is a
bigger problem then the battery when you send it into humanware.

Good luck,

Subject: [Braillenote] file recovery

| Hi all,
|
| Does anyone know if there is a way to get files off of a BN that has a
dead
| battery? Hopefully if my dad asks his student tomorrow for the adapter I
can
| get some power to the unit and quickly get everything off of it. However,
| have I lost everything on the unit if I can't get any power to the unit?
