New lines can be done one of two ways: 1. Hit enter-4-5-6, then space-e. The first keystroke acts as a "passthrough" command, so the apex will ignore the next keystroke pressed. Space-e then does what it should, instead of exiting terminal mode. 2. Hit advance-next (the two right-hand thumbkeys if you haven't changed your thumbkey setup). This does not require enter-4-5-6. Using space-enter (space-8) does not work, which is very annoying. I have told Apple and HW about this, so we'll see what happens in the future.
All keystrokes in the general list will work on the apex. The only difference is that some require the use of that passthrough command, enter-4-5-6, first. These include space-e, space-h, space-o, and space-z. The only Apex-specific commands are as follows, assuming you have the standard thumbkey setup: two left: backspace two inner: home two outer: toggle screen curtain two right: enter On 12/10/11, Peter Bosher <[email protected]> wrote: > HI All, > > The Apex is working beautifully with the iPhone, all except for one > thing which has me flummoxed: > > When writing, for notes, texts, Emails or whatever, how do you make a > new line?
