I totally agree!!!!! I have an example for Humanware. Back in October, we had our National Federation of the Blind of Maryland (NFBMD) state convention, which I went to. I also recorded many of the sessions I attended on my Apex, with the intention of both listening to them later and distributing them to other NFB members. However, the files were long, and were in WAV format, which meant they were unemailable unless I converted them to MP3, and Online Converter isn't as reliable as a built-in converter. So, if there was an option to record in MP3, it would be a lot easier for us recorders to distribute our podcasts and other recordings.

"The real problem of blindness is not the loss of eyesight. The real problem is the misunderstanding and lack of education that exists. If a blind person has the proper training and opportunity, blindness can be reduced to a mere physical nuisance." -- Kenneth Jernigan (President, National Federation of the Blind, 1968-1986

The I C.A.N. Foundation helps blind and visually impaired youth in Maryland say "I can," by empowering them through providing assistive technology and scholarships to camps and conventions which help them be equal with their sighted peers. Subject: [Braillenote] recording in mp3

I really hope that the next version of Keysoft has an mp3 recording option. It would help people who need quality. The Apex already has a better microphone and better sound settings, but we need
even better; mp3 recording.
