I had the order of the thumb keys backwards. Here is the correct order. Sorry!

Chris,
Actually, they are, from left to right:
previous, back, advance, next.

This is the list of thumb keys in order from left to right:
previous, next, advance, and back. Previous is the farthest to
the left and back the farthest to the right. Hope this helps!

If I remember right, they are, from left to right: previous,
back,
advance, next? I can never keep them straight! iOS refers to them
as
"thumb 1", "thumb 2" and so on in keyboard help mode, though,
which I
find a lot easier. The problem is if you have re-assigned your
keys.
If anyone knows the four names, could you send them along? The
commands are:
thumb1-thumb2: delete
thumb1-thumb4: toggle screen curtain
thumb2-thumb3: hoome
thumb3-thumb4: new line

Alex, could you maybe clarify what you mean by inner and outer
thumb
keys? For instance, give the key names? The reason I ask is
this: It
can be quite confusing to someone who might not know the keys,
or that
specific terminology.
Thanks, Josh

Hi Peter,

I had this same problem too but have found that if you leave a
space just
before you put the new line in and then do dots 4 5 6 enter then
chord E,
it
should work.

I personally feel the Apex commands are more cumbersome to use,
but since
it's the device I take with me, I use it more than my Focus 40
Blue which
I
find much easier to use with the iPhone.

Good luck!

HI All,

The Apex is working beautifully with the iPhone, all except for
one thing
which has me flummoxed:

When writing, for notes, texts, Emails or whatever, how do you
make a new
line? The iPhone book claims that you should use E-chord, or
dot
8-chord

for return, but neither works, and I've tried everything I can
think of.
.

What gives? And, is there a complete list of Apex keystrokes,
rather
than

just the generic list?

Best,

Peter
