Hi,
I tried using Shout Cast on my Apex. I searched for music and then clicked on a station name, and it said "error loading media". Before this, I went to the settings and chose to use Windows Media Player. Am I doing something wrong, or is the website not supported?

Hey, Guess what? Good notes! Yes!
And it's completely understandable why the sites you listed
aren't working. This is because they use flash content, which is
not compatable with the braille note.
But I can definitely give you some recommendations. One web that
work good is a site called Mike's radio world. I don't have the
direct url though. Another site is radio station world. Both of
these sights are accessible, if not very usable by blind people,
and work great with note takers.
Another one you might try is shoutcast radio. at www dot
shoutcast dot com this site may actually be the easiest to use,
and it has the types of internet radio streams that the BN
supports. Actually I would recommend that site over all the
others!
Also, a little secret!
If you are a member of the System Access Mobile Network, you can
go there and browse there entire directory of radio stations.
The site interfaces well with the BN, and the stations have all
the file formats the BN supports.
Home this helps.
Also, here's a manual way to get the radio station that you want
if you can't find them on any of these sites.
First, find the radio station that you want, either in a dotm 3 u
format, wma, ect. Remember no flash content.
Then download the file to your BN, or add the web page to your
favorites for easy access.
At this point at any time to play the radio station, you can
either a. go to your favorites and find it. Or if you
downloaded it simply go to the media player find the station file
hit enter and away you go. Remember that that you must have a
working internet connection to do either of these things.
I hope that this helped you to get some of the answers you
wanted. If you have any more questions, just hit us and one of
us will be glad to help.
Thanks,
Will the

Does anyone know of internet radio sites that work on the apex? I
know Pandora and Jango do not and I'm certain neither does aol.
Any others out there?
