I was using the iPod's web connection, yes, and it is wifi; only the
iPhone and 3g iPad have 3G capabilities, not the iPod or wifi-only
iPad. I use that setup a lot because the iPod's wifi is so much more
reliable than the apex; where the apex will work for a few pages, drop
the connection, and usually refuse to connect again unless I reset,
the iPod stays connected with no problems. Where the apex takes
forever to load pages, the iPod takes a bit to a lot less time, plus
it has more applications (for Twitter and Facebook, plus the app store
and other apps) that the apex will probably never have.
