Hi Chriss,

Thank you for this. Those without a PC will not be able to partake in the chat, but if you are in a position to locate/use a pc, then I am sure you will be able to.

Regards, Blake.

No, Teamtalk will not work with the bn. However, the chat service we used before, Talking Communities, does not work on the bn either, so nothing has chaoged there. We are looking into ways to include those without a pc and will tell the list once we find a solution.

Have a great day,

Hi Blake,

I am not from Australia, so I wouldn't be right for your chats.
However, there might be a better and easier solution than trying
to schedule it with Blind Cool Tech. We (that is, the
BrailleNote Users Web site development team) have decided to
switch hosting providers for the BN Chat Series, and we are now
using our own room on TeamTalk. This room is hosted on our own
chat server and the room is dedicated to the BrailleNote and
chats about BrailleNote and related topics. So, you could use
our room on TeamTalk for your chats. To get more information, to
download TeamTalk, and to get the settings needed to connect to
the BrailleNote Users server on TeamTalk, go to our chat series
page at chat.braillenoteusers.info.

Hi all,

I have been abcent from the list for some time, and consequently
do not know exactly what has been taking place.

Guys, I would like to host a chat, on Blind cool tech, like
Joseph has been doing for the last few years. However, I would
like it to have a more Australian/New Zealand focus. It is very
uncommon that we get Australians/New Zealanders here, so I would
like to invite you now.

Please RSVP to me asap, and we can get this thing rowling. All I
want to know, at this stage, is who would be interested in
participating in the chat, and whether there is any requirement
that HW staff are invited to partake.

Regards, Blake.
