Unfortunately, the latest Keysoft version available for the
mPower is version 8.0. So, if you had 8.0 before you sent it in,
you're still stuck with 8.0.

Subject: [Braillenote] Latest Upgrades for BrailleNote mPower?
Hello.
Recently my BrailleNote mPower was sent in to have some repairs
done and-I
hope to have upgrades made to the software.
I have had the mPower since 2007 and one of the main problems
with it was
with the braille display. My VR counselor and the AT group at
DBVI decided
to get the necessary repairs taken care of instead of spending 5
to 6000
dollars for a new unit.
Because I haven't been able to use the BrailleNote in quite some
time, I was
wondering if anyone could tell me what version is Keysoft now
made available
and what, if any, are the new features in the latest release.
I will be using the mPower in the training session that is going
to begin on
Jan. 30th and I wanted to get some idea of what to expect.
