Hi,
What is the operating system used on your PC i.e. which version of Windows do you have?
Here are some terms to get you started:
* Server: A server is a computer that provides some kind of service, such as email send/receive, file storage and so forth. In this case, it refers to a computer on a network that you wish to access using a client software. * Client: A client is a computer that attempts to access a server to use some resources, such as connecting to send and receive emails. In our case, it refers to the BrailleNote. * Domain: A domain is a network (collection) of computers managed by a central server computer (called a domain controller). The advantage is that when a domain is selected, all computers which are part of this group can be shown when browsing for particular computer. * Network resource: A network resource is the data that a server has that the client is trying to use, such as files and folders. As I said, we need the version of Windows installed on your computer so we can help you better.
Cheers,
Joseph

Subject: [Braillenote] Accessing your PC from the BrailleNote ON A net"w

Hi all,

As the subject line says, I am trying to access files stored on
my PC from the BrailleNote Apex using a wireless network. I am
connected successfully, and when I go to the drive prompt, and
press N, it asks me for a network place. When I try to set this
up, it asks me for stuff like network server and domain? (Can you
tell I'm knew to this? Thought so). Where do I obtain the
necessary information?

Cheers!

Jack Jones
