Yes, the mPower accepts sd and cf cards. However, it will not accept sdhc (4gb and above) sd cards. You can sometimes find a standard (non-hc) card of 4gb, but usually 4gb and over will be sdhc.
Yes, you need a card to go online, unless you use the dial-up modem. You could also use activeSync on a computer to make the bn go online through the computer's web connection, and that only requires an activeSync connection (though doing this over bluetooth can be unstable). No, the battery is not replaceable by the user; it is built in, and so you must send the mPower back to hw to get a new battery installed. I have heard of people taking classic and mPower units to a battery shop and having them do the replacement, but this will void any warranty on the machine. If you have an old unit that hw will no longer service, though, it can be cheaper to have a store like Batteries Plus do the work instead. Again, though, this will void waranties from hw.
