Hi Michelle,
Here is a short list of UEB mathematical signs:
Equals dot 5 followed by dots 2 3 5 6
Plus dot 5 followed by dots 2 5 6
Minus dot 5 followed by dots 3 6
Times dot 5 followed by dots 2 3 6
Divided by dot 5 followed by dots 3 4

Hope this helps.
Wendy

Subject: [Braillenote] Maths Braille Signs In Grade 2?

Hi listers. When one is using grade 2 Braille on the BN and
wants to use such signs as plus and equals, does one have to
revert to grade 0 Braille or another code? When I try to use dots
5-6 and dots 2-3-5 for plus sign, it comes out as ;! (semi-colon
exclamation mark). Since I am trying to write up a budget on my
BN and present it to a financial counsellor, I want my
calculations to look comprehensible.

Any advice, either on or off list, would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Michele
