Hi,
I agree! I don't know much about the bug, but what was suggested would be cool to see anyway.

Subject: [Braillenote] BN and Microsoft Word Documents

Hi all. I wanted to get people's opinions on the apparent bug
with the BrailleNote when editing documents originally in
Microsoft Word. I know this problem has been around since my
MPower days when I was using Keysoft 7. If i am filling in a
form for example sent to me in Word, I cannot translate it into
Braille (to make it easier to fill in so I don't have to writin
in computer Braille). If I do, it will not back translate. An
error comes up. Equally, if I keep the format as Word and fill
it out usuing computer Braille but accidentally save it as a
Keyword document, I can't then send it as a Word Word attachment.
An exception violation command comes up, numbered 0.

I would like to see something done about this by the techies at
Humanware. I would like to be able to translate xffBraille so I
don't have to continuously worry about accidentally using grade 2
Braille when I type. As for the idea of filling out forms on my
PC, I like the portability of doing it from my recliner chair,
and also being able to feel where my cursor is located with my
Braille display. I can't visualize in my head as quickly with
speech only.

What are other people's takes on this?

Cheers!

Michele
