Hi,
Hmmm, some clarifications:
* Attachment locations: BrailleNote doesn't care where the attachments come from - SD card, USB thumb drive, networka etc. This is because during the attachment process, the file will be copied to a specific folder on the Flash Disk. * TIFF stands for Tagged Image File Format, quite an old file type used for images.
A few questions:
* Does this SMTP error occur every time you send and receive email? * Have you tried deleting the offending email before attempting at send and receive? If so, do you get this
error?
* How many emails do you have on your BrailleNote in total - including InBox, saved emails somewhere else and Trash? First, try "send and receive" again to see if the error persists. Then try deleting the ofiending email and invok-invoking send and receive to see if we can isolate the error to this email. If you get error 112 even after deleting the offending email, do a reset and try sending and receiving emails with and without composing the email with the image attachment. Also, the message "not enough disk space" refers not to the Flash Disk's remaining storage space, but rather it means that you have too many emails and its time to clean unneed emails because the email database cannot store more emails. (Note that BrailleNote's email database has a maximum size limit of 16 MB, which is about 2000 emails; or, if you have large emails, about 1200 to 1500 is the minimum limit.) To fix this "temporarily," remove unneeded emails from your system and try reclaiming usable database space by freeing it (Email Options, F). Then try sending and receiving again.
Cheers,
Joseph

Is the attachment on a usb drive or an sd card or any other type
of external storage device? If it is then you will need to copy
it to your flash disk before you can send it in an email. The
BrailleNote does not like to send attachments from external
storage devices. Also how big is the file you are trying to send?
You need to make sure you have the amount of space on your flash
disk that is equal to the file you are trying to send because
when you attach a file to an email a second copy of the file is
made and stored in the attachments directory of your keymail
folder. So say for example if the attachment is 2 mb then you
need to make sure you have at least 2 extra mb on your flash disk
so that it can copy and be sent properly. If you do all of this
and then it still will not send then try resetting your
BrailleNote and try sending it again. Hope this helps.

Hi everybody. I was wondering if you know the meaning of error
112 when sending attachments. I was trying to send a tiff file
but I got that message. It also said that there was not enough
space on the disk and there's still alot of memory capacity on my
apex.
Thank you very much.
