You cannot create a template in anything other than keyword braille or
keyword text. When you export your records using the template, you can
try exporting to a Word file. Make sure, though, that when you do this
you use a kwt version of the template. If this is not clear, let me
know and I can outline the steps. However, I have not tried this in
quite a while, so it may not work as you expect.
