Subject line says it all. Apple has issued an update to their operating
system.
If you have an Apex QT and haven't upgraded your iPhone/I device yet, you
may want to hold off on the upgrade.
I'm hearing that the 9.2 workaround for the QT no longer works in the new
Apple IOS.
Humanware and Apple really need to get this resolved.
And frankly, Humanware should be on this list, apprising users of what's
going on and what's being done.
We invest a pretty hefty chunk of change in this technology.
I have a BT, but I'd be intensely frustrated with the on-again, off-again
nature of the QT regarding Apple devices.
I get the impression that HW's changes originally broke this functionality
in 9.1 (or was it 9.0?)
I know everyone will say that it's everyone else's fault.
But what's really needed is the restoration of Braille functionality before
HW changed it.
Regardless of what Apple has or hasn't done since, the problem began with an
upgrade that removed Braille/iPhone compatibility for QT users.
As I said, this needs to be resolved.
And Humanware needs to be at the forefront, informing customers.
