Hi,
A short term fix would be to edit the brf file in wordprocessor: when the mispronounced word is found, surround it with computer braille indicators (DETS 4-5-6, DOTS 3-4-6, word, DOTS 4-5-6, DOTS 1-5-6). Also, it has been found that computer braille can be "inserted" within a braille document (some already know this) - this is useful for embedding Nemeth-style code in a braille document by surrounding the Nemeth expressions with computer braille (works with brf files; note that direct Nemeth to text translation is not availible, although using KeyWord braille document, speech synthesizer will pronounce Nemeth expressions correctly if Nemeth grade was chosen and some text was entered using it).
Cheers,
Joseph

Subject: [Braillenote] pronounciation dictionary with a brf book frombookshare

Hi listers. I am reading a book from bookshare. There is one
word that my bn doesn't pronounce correctly and I can't fix it in
the pronunciation dictionary. The word is T4, but it is written
in contracted braille. I could change it to a text file but I
don't know if that would fix it. Any ideas?
Malaina
