You could also get a Gmail account. It works very well with Keymail on the Apex, has a very accessible Web interface where you can easily look at emails by logging in at www.gmail.com, and you can configure Microsoft Outlook or other email clients for the PC with your Gmail account. If you need the Keymail settings for Gmail, let me know!

Have you tried setting up the POP and SMPT servers to older
settings?   This worked for me with Bellsouth, another ATT
provider.
