Hi,
Follow these steps:
1. Go to HumanWare website.
2. Select Support link.
3. Go to BrailleNote Apex link.
4. Select Software link.
5. Select "Apex as a braille display."
6. Then select "Download the Braille Terminal Tool" link and
either save or run the program.
Depending on communication method, you could install the USB
driver. The USB driver would be required when communicating the
Apex with the PC and if you need to use Apex's USB client port
for any reason. If not (using serial port or Bluetooth), you can
skip this step and proceed to installing JAWS driver.
After installation is complete, go to JAWS window and select
ghrl. This time, select "BrailleNote Signed" as the braille
display name and select the correct Com port. Then restart JAWS
(with the Apex on braille terminal mode) and the contents of the
screen will be displayed on braille.
Cheers,
Joseph
