Hi folks,
I'm delighted to announce exciting additions to BrailleNote Users
website for April 2012. This release lays the foundation for the
upcoming summer release of the site (to be announced later) and
includes much awaited audio tutorial.
Highlights:
* Command Summary: Commands used on Database Manager, KeyChat (IM
client) and Text Adventures application has been added, with
foundations laid for final topics to be covered in the summer
release. In addition, some small yet important commands were
added throughout the command summary, namely shootcuts for
finding and inserting Unicode characters, changing options in
prompts and shortcuts for turning speech and braille display on
and off.
* Media Center: The much awaited audio tutorial on creating and
managing databases using Database Manager is now availible.
Topics include adding and manipulating records in existing
databases, exporting records to and importing data from CSV
(Comma Separated Values) files and a walkthrough on creating your
own database and managing database definitions.
And minor fixes and additions. The website is, as it has always
been, www.braillenoteusers.info. But we're not done yet: more
exciting news to follow on the next post.
