Where do you get these sound-packs from? Are the steps you
outlined for installing the soundpacks? I don't want to stuff up
my APEX which is why I asked.
Cheers!
Michele

Subject: [Braillenote] 12 more soundpacks and a couple tricks
Hi bn listers:
I discovered a couple tricks and made 12 more soundpacks.
I make menny soundpacks so eny apex user who finds the default
braillenote sounds annoying can pick the following soundpacks:
jungle sounds, music sounds, nature sounds, ocean sounds, outer
space sounds, robot sounds, glass sounds, pearl sounds, tinker
sounds, and davinci sounds.
I also made soundpacks from microsoft office 97, and windows
wf311.
I also i found an interesting and kind of dangerous trick.
The trick is to access windows folder on keysoft system disk on
apex with file manager.
here are the steps.
1.
access a database on an sd card.
2.
in the main menu, take out the sd card.
go back to keybase.
press backspace and type /windows.
press enter.
create a new database.
from the main menu, go to file manager and select brows files or
directory.
when at the drive prompt just press enter.
type /windows.
and you are in the windows folder in keysoft system disk.
When i looked at list of all hidden files, i found a file called
softreset.wav
when i listened to it, i herd the reset beap.
Then i realized, i can add the windows shutdown sounds to my
soundpacks.
I will do that now.
I hope you be vary careful in this folder.
you will not need to press reset with dots 1-2-3 to uninstall a
soundpack.
Just delete the custom wav files.
Note: be careful!
