Hi Joseph, my iPhone 4S will not connect to my wireless network when
it is in N-only mode, so I just assumed that the Wireless-N
specification isn't supported.

I did some further research, and iPhones support 2.4 GHZ Wireless-N
(the same frequencies that are used by the Wireless-G specification)
but not 5 GHZ Wireless-N (which preports to have much lower
interference).

So, yes, I suppose there's a small chance that his router is set up to
use 2.4 GHZ Wireless-N.
