Hi,
Few clarifications:
* Did you rename the wav files in Windows folder to match that of
KeySoft System Disk files? If you don't then that'll explain why
they won't play as intended.
* Are the files long? You might want to use a file that is about
two seconds or less (unless changing startup music, which is
about five seconds or less).
* Isn't QT equivalent of 4-5-6 would be JKL?
Cheers,
Joseph

Hi Jessica,

I'll give that a try and see how it goes. I just did a regular
reset with nothing held down, and it told me that system files
have been updated and that I had to press reset again. But I'll
try the FDS reset (I've got the qt).

Will keep you osted.

Siena.

After you put the sounds in the windows folder you need to do a
reset with dots 4-5-6 on a bt or f-d-s on a qt and then a reset
with no keys held down.. Did you do that?

Subject: [Braillenote] Sound pack not working

Hi all,

Well the good news is that I was able to get my mp3 sound files
into
Wave using my iPod Touch. I tested them on my iPod, on my
parents'
computer, and on my BrailleNote, and they played just fine. But
when I
tested them on the BrailleNote MPower by placing them into the
Windows
folder on my Flash Disk, they wouldn't play. These files were
created
a couple of days ago. What could be causing this issue and how
can I
fix this? I was told that files older than 2005 (if I can
remember
correctly) are not supported, however like I said, these were
wave
files I created on Thursday night. Any suggestions would be
greatly
appreciated!

Cheers,
