Ok. I figured it out now. The speech converter does not work the same as the document converter. The mp3 file does not get attached to your email. You may want to try converting another file to speech and then when you get the email back then open it up and read it carefully. It will make more sense then. I hope this helps. Email me on or off list if you have anymore questions. I have emailed them to ask if there is a way to change the voice and if you can change its speed and pitch. I have also asked if the speech file can be converted to other formats then mp3. As for the rtf problem I don't know. It says it supports rtf so it should work. You may want to email them about it. Hi Chris and all,

This is very weird indeed! I even tried converting a txt file to mp3 via the [email protected] converter, and the resulting output file showed up as a blank mp3 file. I've contacted them about this and am anxiously awaiting their reply!

I'm not sure why it happens, but that's happened to me too; no matter what file format I tell it to convert to, it always converts into TXT.

Subject: [Braillenote] Problem converting files into RTF [email protected]

Hi all,

Thank you all for your help with the RoboBraille service. I'm still having a bit of trouble. When I try to convert any file type into RTf, the result always comes back as a txt file. I've tried typing rtf in the subject line, with and without the period, and even tried typing (file format of the original file) to rtf (as suggested by a friend of mine), but even then, the resulting conversion came back as txt. What am I doing wrong here? Or will it only convert from other file types to txt, and not the other way around? I'm confused!

Siena.
