Hi,
I am using the braille display with Jaws. I have finally been
able to read the documentation on how to do this. How do I get
this feature to work as it says in the documentation?
For example, it says to get to the start menu, press space with
dots 3-4. I am doing that, but it seems that the space bar is
not responding to some commands. To get to the start menu, I
have to press s. Am I missing something? I'm sure I just have a
setting wrong or something, but thought I would ask. I don't
want to have to reset everything up again if I can help it.
Thanks for your help. I did ask a few months ago on how to use
this, but have gotten around to reading the documentation. I
want to completely drive my laptop using the Bn if I can. From
what I understand, I can do that. It would be a great feature,
since after my ear infection a few months ago, I have noises in
the ears everyday and would like to have an extra option for
working on my laptop when needing some quiet time from audio. Of
course I can use braille without speech on the BN, but would like
to have the same option on the laptop and mute the speech on
Jaws, so I can work on my laptop for things that require the use
of a computer.
What I love about the BN is that if you don't hear everything
someone says in a group, you can follow along on the display, so
for a variety of reasons, I want to set this up.
