Hi Lucy,

Not exactly sure about the first one ... But the "superscript on" code thingy is $fss so if you put the display in "editing" mode by pressing the outer thumb-keys simultaneously till it says "editting" and then look for said code that might help. Superscript off is $fes.

To know how many lines per print page, put whatever you want to know in a file type other than a braille one ... And then go space with 2,3,4,6, ink-print settings, page settings, and you'll find the relevant amount of lines per page (once you've added on the top and bottom margin) there. Go back into your file and space with 1,5,6 to see where you are.

Italicising - when not using UEB, dot 4-6 (as someone's already said), and to do more than one word, dot 4-6 twice at the start and dots 4-6 once at the beginning of the final word.

Hope that helps :)

Subject: [Braillenote] A few formatting questions

Hi all,

I'm writing with a few questions about formatting documents on
the Apex.

First, I recently submitted a paper (I am a graduate student)
and was told by my professor that about half of it went into the
superscript of a footnote number. It was in a Microsoft Word
attachment. Does anyone know how this might have happened?

Also, how can one tell how many lines a piece of text will be
in print? This, of course, is important for knowing which quotes
need to be blocked off from the texts of papers.

And finally, what is the most efficient way to italicize book
titles, etc?

Thanks in advance for any help anyone can offer!

Best,

Lucy
