Try an electronics shop or camera shop for a shorter strap. If you
don't want to use the apex while you are moving, as you can with the
case the bn comes with, you might consider a case for a portable DVD
player. I have such a case and it fit my mPoer perfectly (of cours the
apex is smaller, but it works). This has a strap and a handle on the
front.
