Yes. Go to the media center, hit s or o (I can't remember which), then
find recording options and hit enter. Space down to the internal
microphone volume and enter a number from 1 to 15. I believe you have
to exit for the setting to take effect, so you may not be able to
enter different values and perform tests right from the settings menu.
Just going back to the media setup menu should do it, though.
