You might be thinking about "braille terminal" mode - and yes,
Apex can be used as a wireless display and input device for
iPhone.
In connection with GPS, GPS files are already installed on the
Apex - all the user needs is an unlock key.

I was very interested to see your posting regarding the
BrailleNote Apex.
As a current VoiceNote MPower user, who would like to upgrade, I
would
definitely have an interest in this. One of the important things
for me,
however, is that I'd be able to use it as a wireless keyboard for
my
iPhone -- which in theory at least, I have been told by HumanWare
that I
can do.
I will get in touch with them tomorrow morning about how certain
they are
of this capacity, and then circle back with you. In the mean
time, do you
have any knowledge regarding this functionality? Also, does the
device
have a braille keyboard or a QWERTY keyboard? Finally, I live
in
Baltimore and occasionally travel to DC for work. If this looks
promising, would it be possible to meet up so that I could take a
look at
things and do a "test drive"? My interest is definitely serious
and if I
can get comfortable with the functionality and the device itself,
I would
be prepared to make the purchase on the proposed terms.

The Apex is in great condition, used very little, has 1 SMA (one
upgrade left) is up to date, has nothing wrong at all, its
selling
for $3,150.00 its a 32 cell and BT keyboard a new one cost in USA
$6379 (based on Humanware site)
The Apex comes with a new battery that has never been used and
has
been reset as never used (factory reset)
