Maybe I'm overlooking something blindingly obvious, but I'm hoping someone can help me with this. I've noticed that there are options in the utilities menu for changing which languages are enabled and so forth. I've gotten them all enabled just for grins, but this is where I'm stumped. I know a good deal of Spanish, so I figured I'd try to get my mPower to switch entirely to that language to see how it operates. So I chose Spanish as both the default and working speech language. I would think that exitting to the main menu ought to switch things immediately to Spanish operation, but my bn is being stubbornly English-centric. Oh I can read text or type, and the speech is in Spanish, but not keysoft itself. Not even a reset made the switch. It's still speaking English for the menus, prompts, etc. Is this some kind of weird flaw in the bn's operation? or, like I guessed earlier, am I overlooking something. Maybe I have to do some kind of registry edit? If so, does anyone know what I could mess with to get my machine to switch keysoft to Spanish? Like I said, I'm confident I could use the bn if it switched to Spanish, so I ought to be able to switch it back to English whenever I choose.
Thanks in advance. I might have asked this question before, but I didn't even
know that the bn had a registry, much less that one can edit that registry at
the time I asked.
