Hi Lois, Try this procedure:
1. Plug in the USB connection to both the computer and the BrailleNote. 2. Turn on the Braille terminal on the Apex by pressing t from the main menu, then u for USB client, then enter. 3. Turn JAWS off. 4. Restart JAWS. If you look at the Braille display after you restart JAWS, it should show what JAWS has just read. If JAWS has just said "JAWS for Windows is ready," the Braille display should read "start JAWS." Please keep us posted and let us know if this works!
