Yes, the spell checker does not count numbers while the word
counter does.

Subject: [Braillenote] spellchecker and word count question

Hello list. Why is it that when spellchecking a document, the
word count feature gives a higher number than the spellchecker
when spellchecking a whole document? For example, if
spellchecking a 10000 word document, the spellchecker might
report that 9600 words were checked. I find this a bit
confusing. Does this have anything to do with numbers?
